Quarry & raw materials operations
Extraction, loading and haulage, production planning, contractor coordination, stockpiling, fixed equipment and HSEQ — supporting reliable material supply to process plants.
Mining & Metallurgical Engineer working at the intersection of operations, mine planning and data. I turn complex physical challenges into practical, measurable solutions—and build digital tools along the way.

I'm a Mining & Metallurgical Engineer (MEng, MSc) based in Thessaloniki, Greece. My work has taken me from underground drilling and blasting to long-term open-pit planning, large-scale quarry operations and industrial raw-material supply.
Currently, I serve as Quarry & Raw Materials Supervisor at TITAN Cement. I bring the same approach to every challenge: understand the system, make the data useful, and improve how the operation actually runs.
Outside core operations, I enjoy applying Python, GIS, SQL, Power BI and web technologies to real engineering problems. This website is also home to those practical experiments.
Bringing operational experience, rigorous engineering and digital thinking together.
Extraction, loading and haulage, production planning, contractor coordination, stockpiling, fixed equipment and HSEQ — supporting reliable material supply to process plants.
Life-of-mine scenarios, long-term schedules, mine design, equipment selection, drill-and-blast, business planning and budgets, cost evaluations and integration of new mining technologies.
Turning operational data into dashboards, geospatial insight, repeatable workflows and lightweight web applications.
From managing mining and HSEQ work in the field to mine-planning leadership and plant raw-material operations.
Overseeing quarry and raw-material activities for the Thessaloniki plant, including production planning, material availability, haulage performance, cost visibility and safety.
Leading and developing long-term planning for the Skouries copper-gold project, including life-of-mine scenarios, schedules, mine design, equipment strategies and optimisation.
Engineering drilling and blasting for underground operations at Olympias; improving fragmentation, dilution control, productivity, safety and technology adoption.
Supervised quarrying, drill-blast-load-haul and raw-material operations across Northern Greece, with responsibility for teams, contractors, budgets and integrated HSEQ systems.
Engineering judgement comes first. These are some of the disciplines and tools I apply to turn plans into results.
Practical operational planning and safe execution across quarries, mines, material handling and contractor-managed environments.
